Schneider Electric Argus is a series of sensors of presence.

On December 20, 2017 the Schneider Electric company provided a series of sensors of presence Argus.

In a series four types of devices are provided:

• high-frequency,
• combined,
• two-zonal Dali
• Standard Mini with overview 360 °.

Devices are integrated into the system of intellectual management of the premises, allowing to avoid power consumption and providing the high level of security and comfort.

High-frequency sensors of presence

The ceiling active sensor of presence with the integrated high-frequency sensor working using a doppler effect is capable to define insignificant movements. The sensor allows to include lighting only when it is necessary, excepting power consumption during daylight hours. The principle of detection does not depend on dust, moisture, fluctuation of temperature.

The sensor can react to movements even through nonmetallic barriers (wooden and glass partitions, thin brick walls, etc.). At the same time an opportunity to install the device on height to 10 meters allows to use it in commercial premises: in warehouses, in a lobby of hotel, at offices.

Hybrid sensors of presence

Devices of double detection integrate infrared (PIR) and ultrasonic (US) sensors in one body. Hybrid sensors of presence have a wide zone of detection: height of 2.5 m an oval of 10х16 m that is equivalent to about 160 m ².

Two-zonal sensors of presence are focused on use in commercial premises. Argus DALI provide a sufficient illumination level at the maximum energy efficiency. It is so-called function of maintenance of permanent illumination in a workplace. At the same time one sensor can control at the same time two independent zones indoors.

Argus Standard Mini devices with overview 360 ° are suitable for residential and public places, they are small and simple in installation, have cut-in diameter of 45 mm.
