Schneider Electric Galaxy VM

On September 3, 2014 the Schneider Electric company, the world expert in the field of management of energy, put on the market the new three-phase uninterruptible power supply unit (UPSU) of Galaxy VM in which the latest energy-saving technologies are used and which is completely compatible to technical solutions of Schneider Electric on management of energy. The Galaxy VM UPS uses the innovation patent topology increasing reliability due to decrease in load of active components. Also Galaxy VM provides expense reduction on the electric power due to use of the innovation ECOnversion mode with efficiency in 99% and correction of entrance non-linear distortions in which possibilities of topology of double conversion online and advanced technologies of the ECO mode are combined, allowing to work with the maximum efficiency without risk for the supported loading of DPC and other responsible loadings.

In addition Galaxy VM provides flexibility of options of storage of energy, having the replaced battery modules (allow to make their replacement without transition to a service bypass that increases readiness and strengthens protection of loading).

Intended for integration into the existing electrical, mechanical systems and Galaxy VM UPS monitors works together with StruxureWare software developed by Schneider Electric for infrastructure management of DPC (DCIM) and also with management systems for the building (BMS) and with the Modbus protocol.

The Galaxy VM UPS occupies the minimum space of a floor and allows to bring a cable on top and from below, at the same time is equipped with castors for movement and can be installed closely to a wall as it is required in seismodangerous zones. The Galaxy VM configuration is easily performed using the configuration Schneider Electric ISX Designer tool, specified in the company.
