Seagate BarraCuda is a line of hard drives.

2019: BarraCuda 510

On January 7, 2019 the Seagate company announced release of SSD BarraCuda of 510 M.2 PCIe NVMe.

According to the producer, SSD BarraCuda of 510 M.2 PCIe NVMe will suit all who need high performance in the multitask mode: the device provides high high-speed performance, accelerating applications, and thanks to compactness of the drive it can be installed in ultrathin notebooks, miniature PCs and desktop computers.

SSD BarraCuda 510 will go on sale in the spring. Devices are supplied with the interactive Seagate SeaTools dashboard for the simplified data management and are followed by the limited five-year warranty.

2017: BarraCuda Pro in modifications to 12TB

On October 10, 2017 Seagate Technology announced availability of the hard drives BarraCuda Pro in modifications up to 12 Tbyte.

Devices with a capacity of 12 Tbyte are created for satisfaction of requirements of the companies for data storage of multimedia, added and virtual reality, records in 4K- permission and video of format 360 °^[1].

The hard drive Seagate BarraCuda Pro with a capacity of 12 Tbyte is the fast, capacious and reliable drive for desktop computers. It will be suitable for accomplishment of any tasks requiring management of considerable amounts of data — from video-tape editing, games to "heavy" desktop applications.

BarraCuda Pro works with high speed. Copying of big files, retouching of a photo and other transactions are quicker executed with its help.

For October 10, 2017 deliveries of the hard drives BarraCuda Pro with a capacity of 12 Tbyte are conducted worldwide.
