2017: Start of sales

On October 31, 2017, the Security Code company announced the start of sales of the Terminal thin client with built-in information protection against unauthorized access.

Appointment

A terminal client is an alternative to a personal computer for organizations using terminal servers or virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI). All user workstations and applications can be centrally administered with deployment and management software. With this approach, all information is processed and stored on the server, which reduces the risk of unauthorized access and data theft.

Developed by the "Security Code" PAC Terminal is designed to organize secure work of users, as well as secure remote access using GOST algorithms.

The product is a comprehensive solution that includes a hardware platform implemented in a compact form factor, a ContinentOS operating system based on Linux, a security tool against Secret Net LSP NSD, and Continent-AP, a secure remote access module using GOST algorithms.

Secret Net LSP, integrated in Terminal, has a certificate confirming FSTEC Russia compliance with the requirements of guiding documents for security class 5 according to SVT and level 4 for monitoring the absence of EEOS. Terminal can be used to create automated systems up to the 1G security class and to protect information in GIS up to K1 and ISD up to UZ1. CIPF "Continent-AP" is in the final stage of certification according to the requirements of FSB Russia to the means cryptographic of protecting information of classes KS1 and KS2.

The advantages of the terminal client concept are to satisfy the information security requirements for ISDS and GIS, in the ability to organize secure terminal access to corporate resources without the need to purchase additional licenses for MPS. During the development, special attention was paid to the ease of use of the device - both by ordinary employees and administrators, - said Oksana Ulyankova, product manager of the Security Code company.
