2024: Commissioning

In September 2024, the subsidiary of the Kalashnikov concern - Nobel Brothers Shipyard - completed the construction and commissioned the Sergey Prikhodko crab ship. This ship, created according to the CCa5712LS project, went on its first voyage. Part of the crab route to the port of Vladivostok passes along the Northern Sea Route, which became possible thanks to its ice class of Ice2.

"Sergey Prikhodko" is the first of two vessels of this series, built by order of the fishing company "Aqua-Invest" within the framework of the federal investment program "quotas for keel. The total cost of the project amounted to ₽1,6 billion.

According to the publication, the crab is equipped with modern equipment for the search, extraction and transportation of live crab, designed for depths of up to 2 thousand m. The vessel is capable of transporting up to 120 tons of crab in special tanks with the Everflo system, which cools and cleans seawater, providing optimal conditions for preserving the catch. The equipment also makes it possible to store and transport crabs over long distances in the difficult hydrometeorological conditions of the Bering and Okhotsk Seas.

The vessel is equipped with automation and digital process control systems, which significantly increases its production performance. On board there are living quarters for a crew of 24 people, which allows you to be in autonomous swimming for up to 40 days. According to MediaDeck, the Sergey Prikhodko crab is designed for operation in unlimited swimming areas.

The vessel was named after Sergei Eduardovich Prikhodko, a prominent Russian diplomat and statesman. At the launching ceremony, his wife Natalya Serafimovna Prikhodko traditionally smashed a bottle of champagne on board, becoming the "godmother" of the crabolov.^[1]
