Server-Ekspert

This product is created in order that the client could pick up base characteristics of the server under the tasks interesting him, at the same time without having sufficient qualification in the field of server solutions.

Calculation of performance relies on the following characteristics:

• processor capacity,
• amount of RAM,
• volume and performance of a disk subsystem.

Capacity of the processor is calculated from processor model (architecture, frequency, quantity of cores) and their quantity. Amount of RAM is absolute value and is considered directly for a specific objective. Characteristics of a disk subsystem depend on quantity, volume and speed of disks. Of course, it is impossible to forget about fault tolerance and availability of the server, but we decided to lower these parameters, having given the chance to the user most to select that level which suits it.

Depending on all these parameters the client can define model and a configuration of the server rather precisely. We turned on in the task list all main roles of the server, some of them are implemented on Linux OS, others on the products Microsoft Windows Server. Also the user can select several levels of load of the server, having specified the Complexity Level parameter.

All dependences were constructed by our engineers with long-term experience in the field of implementation of different solutions and operation of the server systems. The convenience of Server-Eksperta is also that the user can not become attached to specific model, and select a configuration, for example, from the existing server. For this purpose we specially left processors of the previous generation and the old interface of disks. So you can, both to select the server under a task, and to select tasks under the real server which at you serves "faithfully". Also Server-Ekspert will help you with cost estimation at increase in requirements to the server.

For example, whether it is necessary to change completely the server at increase in number of users twice, or it is enough to deliver the second processor and to add RAM?

Selecting server options, you can define: what of them are most sensitive to a required task; what resources should be selected with a good stock and what not especially influence performance at increase in loading.
