Besides, it is announced release of the first joint integrated product and its global availability to clients of the industrial networks (IN).

The announcement of the industrial platform for applications of cyber security Ruggedcom APE1808

On September 19, 2019 the Siemens company reported that it expanded a product line of communication devices of the multiservice Ruggedcom platform (Ruggedcom Multi-Service Platform), having submitted the updated, more powerful version of the module of processing of the Ruggedcom APE applications.

According to the company, the module Ruggedcom APE is the platform for placement of applications and work with third-party software applications under trying conditions of operation.

The module Ruggedcom APE1808 is the representative of a product family of Ruggedcom RX15xx – economic switches and routers of the 2nd and 3rd levels. This the modular, replaced in field conditions platform allows clients to select one of the following three options of communication: WAN, serial port and Ethernet. It is ideal for energy companies, railway transport and management systems for the movement. The built-in functions of switching and routing of the multiservice Ruggedcom RX1500 platform which the module Ruggedcom APE1808 has allow to use it for direct connection to any product entering into this family. The module Ruggedcom APE1808 provides one channel Gigabit Ethernet on the front panel of the RX1500 chassis and also another – equivalent, but completely certain canal – on a unifying payment of the RX1500 body.

Ruggedcom APE is delivered with a conformal covering for additional protection and can work at ambient temperature from-40 to +75 ℃.
