On September 5, 2024, Top Systems, together with SIGMA Technology, announced the possibility of integrating the IOSO calculation management platform, optimization and approximation with the domestic T-FLEX CAD from Top Systems. This enables T-FLEX CAD users to create linked simulation projects, solve various variant research tasks, including complex design optimization tasks.
As reported, integration is at the API level, and the parametric capabilities of T-FLEX CAD have optimized development. Thanks to T-FLEX CAD parameterization, geometric models are rebuilt to the specified parameters, which allows you to automate the time-consuming process of designing complex technical systems by quickly obtaining various configurations and versions of designed products, as well as carry out different calculations for each of them. T-FLEX CAD and its applications allow you to achieve the expected results at different stages of the product life cycle without programming, thereby optimizing the efficiency of designed products, reducing the time and cost of designing and releasing final products. Integration with IOSO complements and extends the capabilities of T-FLEX CAD with a multi-dimensional (up to a hundred parameters) multi-criteria optimization and approximation algorithm, provides automated configuration of data exchange between T-FLEX CAD and IOSO in order to externally control the parameters of product geometry in T-FLEX CAD, obtain calculated characteristics and geometry files in various neutral formats. The simple integration process is ensured by the use of window interfaces without programming elements.
