Sigrand of SG-17B-M

Client SHDSL the SG-17B modem with PoE technology.

The Novosibirsk company "Sigrand" puts in serial production modification of the SG-17B modem. The new product - SG-17B-M considerably expands a scope of the fastest of SHDSL of the modem working with speed up to 15.2 Mbit/c on one pair today.

Now the modem supports not only different options of a local power supply, but also is capable to perform a power supply of the devices connected to it. SG-17B-M provides PoE class2 and has an additional transit exit 48B for a power supply of devices of not supporting PoE. It allows to solve problems of connection of remote devices, for example: IP cameras, IP phones, controllers, etc. The functionality with PoE technology is possible when using a local power supply 48B or in a receive mode of a distant feed from the information line from SHDSL of the modules installed in reference platforms of SG-17R, SG-17S or from an intermediate regenerator of SG-17E. Besides, the modem can work from local power sources 3.3B and 12B.

The modem is executed in the small metal outline package. Now for office application it is possible to select "classical" - plastic execution or industrial. Besides, the modem can be used to installation as a part of different devices, for example, of teromokozhukh of any IP cameras. Small dimensions of the body allow to use additional fastening to the modem on a DIN rail for placement it as a part of different communication cabinets, racks, etc.

For difficult operating conditions there is a modification in the udaroprochnyy hermetic siluminovy package with a class of protection IP67.

One more option of execution of the SG-17B modem in the form of "line" in a format of 30x210 mm is possible under the order. The modem in such form factor was developed for needs of a video research of deep wells for placement on the special lowered shell.

In addition to constructive changes, the SG-17B-M modem has additional opportunities:

• Software updating through console port (RS-232)
• The choice of the modes via the Ethernet 10/100 Half-Duplex and Full-Duplex console.
