Sinop (system)

Sinop is automated information system of meteorological monitoring and a weather forecast for business.

The Sinop system is the instrument of decision support taking into account the flowing and predicted hydrometeorological situation and the accompanying weather risks.

On April 1, 2015 the Sinop company announced an output to the market of the first Russian automated information system of meteorological monitoring and a weather forecast for business.

A system is created by the company together with Hydrometeorological center of Russia which specialists implemented predictive "stuffing" of a system.

A system provides automatic formation of a detailed weather forecast with advance time to 1-2 weeks in any geographical point, and not just in the locations of meteorological stations. At the same time, as developers, the accuracy of the meteorological forecast of SINOP one of the highest in the territory of Russia say.

Feature of a system in functionality of forecasting of weather risks taking into account specifics of business of the consumer of meteorological services. SINOP automatically, on the basis of the data on types and criteria of the phenomena of weather dangerous to his activity entered by the user, creates predictive cards of weather risks - the list of the expected emergency situations, the place and time of their approach. Additional integration with analytical and GIS systems allows to expand opportunities for determination of the list of the infrastructure facilities getting to a dangerous zone, estimates of possible damage, management of emergency crews, etc.

A system automatically according to individual preferences sends to the user warnings of the dangerous weather phenomena, including on mobile devices. It is intended, first of all, for the users who are not professional meteorologists – the system interface is intuitive and does not require special skills in work with it.
