2022: Presentation of the Digital Traffic Light Traffic Control Complex
Sitronics Group on September 16, 2022 presented the Digital Traffic Light solution, which allows organizing traffic management.
The intelligent traffic control complex consists of digital traffic lights, a road controller and the Digital Traffic Light Twin system. The solution provides the connection of the survey, video surveillances detectors, transport weather station, as well as additional sensors - temperature, humidity, electricity consumption, air quality and level. In cities, a situation is widespread in which there is no centralized control of road controllers and, as a result, the ability to remotely adjust traffic flows, outdated road controllers are used without any monitoring means, and the traffic lights themselves do not provide information and readability of the signal when direct sunlight hits. In addition, there is often no backup power supply to keep traffic lights working at intersections. These tasks are designed to solve the "digital traffic light" Sitronics Group.
The peculiarities of the solution will be: remote connection of traffic lights to the Unified Traffic Control Center of the urban agglomeration through various interfaces, the use of open APIs, high reliability and information content of traffic lights with dynamic brightness control. In addition, the system allows for adaptive control of transport flows, as well as the creation of a dynamic transport model based on data from transport flow detectors, the company said.

The system can be integrated with the digital platforms of ITS agglomerations, as well as with the "Digital Platform for Managing Transport Systems" developed by Sitronics Group, which allows implementing comprehensive "smart" traffic management in a city or region.
