2020: The announcement of Smart Correction - the system of treatment of changes

In the middle of October, 2020 the WishBone Medical company provided the pediatric system of external fixing Smart Correction for correction of congenital deformations of bones and soft fabrics and also for treatment of difficult changes. The device is equipped with the external fixer and software for planning of transactions.

The Smart Correction system from WishBone is intended for treatment of the opened and closed changes, an artrodez and pseudo-arthrosis of long bones, lengthening of extremities, correction of deformations, bone defects or defects of soft fabrics and also correction of incorrectly spliced changes. The free arrangement of fixers of a system allows surgeons to manipulate easily the device and to set the fixing racks and rings where it is necessary.

The predecessor of this system developed by our subsidiary company Response Ortho already improved quality of life of thousands of patients, - the founder and the CEO of the company Nick Deeter noted. - Cooperating, our commands improved Smart Correction for application for children.

Smart Correction is delivered in different options. According to the company, unique construction of the external fixer with 6 racks provides simplicity of application, high mechanical stability and exact correction of deformation. Delivered together with the software system allows to adjust deformation in all geometrical planes, and thinner, than usually, components, allow to carry out correction of several close located deformations. Developers also note that the modern materials used by production of the Smart Correction components do it strong, but easy, and the titanium alloy used for screws and fastenings facilitates radiographic researches and magnetic resonance imaging.[1]
