2017: The 16-channel logger is released
On October 25, 2017 the Smartec company announced release of the 16-channel STR-HD1617 video recorder with support of cameras from D1 to 5 MP.
Smartec released the Omega series STR-HD1617 video recorders. They are created for consolidation in network to 16 surveillance cameras of different formats from among analog, digital and network. Multiformat video recorders automatically determine signal type and permission at connection of the cameras D1, 960H, AHD, HD-TVI, HD-CVI, HD-SDI, EX-SDI to them and any IP cameras up to 5 MP. The maximum frame rate of record is at STR-HD1617 400 fps. Based on multiformat registrar it is possible to organize a local videoarchive on 1-5 HDD SATA and to record up to 30 TB videos, at connection of external storages — it is even more.
Performance of STR-HD1617 allows to service up to 16 cameras and to process multiformat video flows, record which can be executed with the general bitrate of 400 fps in H.264 format. Channel-by-channel update rate of the personnel at these models will depend on signal type and its permission. The image accepted through BNC inputs, multiformat video recorders can write with the resolution up to 2 megapixels at 25 fps, and on the IP channel according to the following scheme: to Full HD at 30 fps, 3 MP at 10 fps, 4 MP at 7 fps and 5 MT at 5 fps.
Archiving up to 30 TB videos is possible based on the STR-HD1617 video recorder as it supports work with 1-5 built-in SATA hard drives with a capacity up to 6 TB everyone.
