2018: STC-HDX3525 Ultimate
On August 10, 2018 the Smartec company provided the camera STC-HDX3525 Ultimate constructed on 2 Megapixels to the CMOS array of Sony Starvis IMX290.
Smartec noted that cameras of the STC-HDX Ultimate family support the majority of standards of broadcast of HD of video signal per the coaxial cable. Cameras can be connected to any video recorder with the BNC interface as in a digital format, using the HD-SDI and EX-SDI standards, and in analog high resolution of AHD, HD-TVI, HD-CVI. Also connection to video recorders with a composite analog video input of standard permission 960H is supported. The output of digital and analog video signal is performed through separate BNC exits. When choosing standards of high definition of EX-SDI, AHD, HD-TVI, HD-CVI the possibility of broadcast of a signal on distances to 500 m without intermediate gain (is reached when using the RG6/U cable). The maximum distance of broadcasting for the HD-SDI standard makes 100-120 meters (when using the RG6/U cable).
Existence of the motorized lens 2.8 ~ 12 mm allows to configure focal distance and focusing in the most exact way at remote access on the camera under the UTC protocol (without the need for physical access to the camera) and also using the joystick which is included in the package. The present possibility is also useful to simplification of procedural correction of the focusing which is required in use cameras claim in Smartec.
According to the developer, switching of an operation mode of the camera "day/night" can be configured both on an illumination level, and on duration of a delay of change of the mode of lighting. The last allows to avoid undesirable reaction of the camera to short-term differences of illumination. In the conditions of lack of lighting on an object of STC-HDX3525 Ultimate activates work of 30 built-in IK-LEDs and provides IK-illumination range to 15 meters.
Function of digital noise reduction of 2D/3D DNR with the analysis of the adjacent personnel allows to receive the better image in the conditions of the lowered illumination. In addition to improvement of visual acceptability this mode allows to save up to 70% of disk space of the video recorder at record, noted in Smartec.
At activation of function of broad dynamic range of WDR (120 dB), the camera uses everyone 2 frames (50 fps) created by the CMOS array for formation of a final video flow with a speed of 25 fps that provides video balanced on brightness at a hard lighting on an object, a counter/background flare, etc., the developer claims.
The STC-HDX3525 Ultimate setup is made using the system of screen menus available at use of the external, connected panel going in a set and also according to the UTC standard which allows to manage OSD cameras on the coaxial cable, without requiring laying of the additional command cable (except HD-SDI, EX-SDI). The mode of a slow electronic lock allows to increase sensitivity of the camera in the conditions of extremely low levels of illumination.
