ST-NC441

On February 8, 2018 the ARMO-Systems company announced ST-NC441 controllers of the Smartec trademark based on which it is possible to create network systems of access control on 100,000 users.

ST-NC441 supports TCP/IP protocol and is equipped with two Ethernet-ports working in the repeater mode for connection of controllers and simplification of their installation. The model is supplied with freely programmable inputs and exits (12 and 6 respectively) and 4 interfaces for connection of the readers Wiegand 26 or 34. At loss of contact of ST-NC441 with the server the network system of access will continue to function steadily in a standalone mode.

Support of several options of identification (according to the map, the code, the code or the map, the map and the code) allows to set a required order of access to secure facilities. So, network systems of access with two-factor identification of personnel – at simultaneous presentation of the card and input of the code – increase security on an object since exclude a possibility of pass of the stranger according to someone else's admission. This Smartec network controller with 4 interfaces for readers is expected management of four doors or two tourniquets.

ST-NC441B is compatible to the majority of readers thanks to existence of 4 ports supporting interfaces of Wiegand. Network systems of access based on these Smartec controllers can be equipped with the readers of the most widespread Wiegand 26 and Wiegand 34 formats installed on one, two, three or four doors in different combinations. Communication of the reader and controller of network system of access is performed on the three-wire bus which 2 wires – signal, and the third – "earth".

Smooth operation of a system is ensured by a possibility of functioning of ST-NC441 in a standalone mode. At break of the line or other reasons of loss of communication of the server and controller the last switches to independent operation, and the network system of access continues work in the normal mode. At the same time the controller registers all events in the magazine in which non-volatile memory it can be stored up to 100,000 records, and after communication recovery information with ST-NC441 will be transferred to the server.

ST-NC441 has 2 Ethernet-ports capable to work in the repeater mode at the expense of what it is possible to connect other controllers to one of them. It is important that this Smartec allows to create multifunction network systems of access thanks to existence of 12 inputs and 6 exits freely programmable for interaction with access devices (position sensors of a door, exit buttons, electromagnetic locks), sensors of a security alarm or the executive equipment.

Simplicity of management and broad functionality of network system of access control are provided by software of Timex into which Smartec ST-NC441 controllers are integrated. The software of Timex allows to conduct user base, to appoint the access levels and to monitor a system status and also can create reports. Creating network systems of access using Smartec controllers, it must be kept in mind that given software the complete functionality for the SUVR organization (systems of accounting of working time) has: using Timex it is possible to monitor the working schedule of each employee, controlling arrival/going away from work, delay and breaks and also to trace and unload statistics of use of working time.

ST-NC120, ST-NC240 и ST-NC440

New ST-NC120, ST-NC240 and ST-NC440 controllers of the Smartec trademark are intended for the organization of economic network systems of access control. They are supplied with the Wiegand-interface, are compatible to readers of many producers, are integrated into managing software of Timex and have inputs and outputs for connection of buttons of an exit, electrical locks, position sensors of a door and other actuators. For consolidation in network controllers of access can use the bus RS-485 or TCP/IP the interface, and at failures in network — to perform the functions in a standalone mode. New products are convenient in installation as they are delivered in video of a payment or in the body, and their maximum complete set includes also the power supply.

It is possible to integrate ST-NC120/240/440 in a system on Ethernet of TCP/IP network or on the bus RS-485. When using Ethernet, controllers of access are built in network without restriction on quantity and if the network is under construction based on RS-485, then it is possible to integrate no more than 63 such Smartec devices in one branch. It should be noted that due to support of the protocol of communication of TCP/IP controllers can limit access to premises where it is inexpedient to lay RS-485 cable, but where there is already an Ethernet network, for example, in the remote warehouse or at small geographically distributed offices of the companies.

ST-NC120, ST-NC240 and ST-NC440 are expected service of different number of access points (doors) and serve as the tool for creation of budget control and management systems for access on objects, different by the size. At the same time ST-NC120 models provide control of one door on an input exit or only on an input, controllers of access ST-NC240 can service two doors, and ST-NC440 — to four doors. Each controller of a new series provides several schemes of the organization of pass: according to the card, according to the map and the code, according to the card or by the code.

ST-NC120/240/440 are capable to work with access card readers practically of any producers as are equipped with the Wiegand interface. At the same time controllers of access use the Wiegand 26 format which is the most widespread in the similar systems. For connection of readers to the controller of a system of access the three-wire bus in which two wires are signal and one — grounding is used.

For setup of devices and management of the ACS network controllers of a new series are integrated into the software of Timex which has a multiserver architecture and allows to organize not only access control, but also a personnel time recording on an object. Using this software it is possible to maintain the database of card owners, to create and appoint the access levels, to execute online monitoring of a system and photoverification, to configure access controllers and also to create different report types, including maintaining the sheet of T13 and other statistic reports about use of working time.

In the conditions of non-staff situations, for example, at interruption of contact with the server, smooth operation of the ACS is ensured by transition of ST-NC120/240/440 to a standalone mode. In this mode controllers of access will manage operation of peripheral devices and also to keep record of all events in the magazine (up to 100,000) which is stored in their non-volatile memory. After communication recovery, controllers will transfer information on events to the server and will return to the normal mode of work.

Support of the gateway mode distinguishes new Smartec controllers from many analogs and allows to provide access to especially important objects when ST-NC120/240/440 manage pass through two interconnected doors, the limiting premises of vestibule type. In the gateway mode controllers of access "isolate" individual visitors for refining of their personality and/or inspection on existence of the objects and substances prohibited to a bringing, allowing not to allow a bringing on an object of weapon, the explosive poisoning and psychotropic drugs, etc.

New controllers of access Smartec ST-NC-120/240/440 already came to the Russian market, and their retail price is from 150 USD, including VAT.
