Smartec Timex ID

The ID Timex software product is intended for development of prototype designs of plastic cards and admissions and management of their printing, both in a standalone mode, and in composition of access control and a time recording. Thanks to support of broad set of drivers, printing of admissions through Timex of ID can be performed on all popular models of sublimation printers. The intuitive interface of new software allows to simplify considerably development of templates of cards and their printing. In addition to text and graphic boxes, the template provides also dynamic fields for which data can arrive from the database of a control system of access, own DB or from external sources.

The important advantage of Timex of ID is its compatibility with the different thermosublimation printers for personalisation of admissions supporting single, batch or sheet print on PVC cards or stickers. For example, performing printing of admissions on Fargo thermal printers, it is possible to combine color panels and to change temperature for obtaining the realistic image with use to 16.7 million shades. In the course of preparation of a template for printing it is possible to set both any size of a badge, and standard — ID-1, ID-2 or ID-3 and also to create two-sided models of ID cards.

Simple and fast creation of templates and preprinting preparation of admissions is performed in the editor of the module of Timex of ID who has the intuitive interface optimized for users of the Microsoft Office programs. With its help it is possible to create absolutely original model of the required size and design with use in a design of text and graphic elements. Besides, before starting printing of admissions, it is possible to add different barcodes including QR, and dynamic fields which are intended for placement of photos and personal data of visitors and employees and are loaded into printing module from different DB to the model.

Export of photos and these employees to the model of admissions can be performed, in particular, from the database of the software of Timex. Besides, Timex of ID provides loading of photos from the external carrier or in real time from the USB camera connected to the PC with which creation and editing models and printing of admissions of personnel and guests of the company is conducted. At the same time for processing of photos and background images before their output to printing in the new module there is a minieditor who turns on broad tool kit and supports automation of the repeating actions.

Independent operation of the module of Timex of ID is possible when this software is used only for development and personalisation of admissions and stickers on plastic cards as allows to maintain own database without restriction of number of employees and templates. However if necessary, the functionality of Timex of ID which includes also printing of admissions can be expanded at any time with other software modules of Timex for the organization of access control, a time recording, photoverification, etc. To integrate printing module with a DB of third-party developers software of Timex of SKD is used.
