Smartturbotech: A program for working with library funds

In January 2024, it became known about the creation of software in Russia for the work of scientists with library funds. We are talking about the development of the Smartturbotech company.

As told TASS in the press service, National Technology Initiative (NTI) Platforms launched software allows you to find the necessary data, as well as analyze them in the form of graphs and tables. The system is addressed to researchers, students and schoolchildren, its functionality depends on their role.

With the natural language engine, users can automatically review texts, annotate documents, and customize tagging. At the same time, the intelligent assistant helps you navigate the library, solve organizational issues and set up a recommendation system.

Librarians can upload books and logs to digital storage, create cards, and add hyperlinks. Regular visitors, including schoolchildren and students, can work with multiple sources in a single window, use a text editor, and receive recommendations based on their interests. And researchers can analyze data using artificial intelligence tools and visualize it as graphs and tables.

As noted in Smartturbotech, the new solution will help create repositories of publications, journals, scientific and student works in digital form, improve the level of qualifications of workers and apply AI technologies in library and scientific research. The new software is already successfully used in two institutions and can be used in museums and other organizations working with text data. The program is included in the register of domestic software.^[1]
