2025: OpenYard Server Compatibility
The company OpenYard and the manufacturer of systems for automating television broadcasting and television production "" SoftLab-NSC conducted successful tests for the compatibility of the I/O board FD788 and. Vendor Server Equipment OpenYard announced this on April 21, 2025.
FD788 is a low-profile PCI-Express x4 I/O card that is designed to work with 3G/HD/SD-SDI and ASI signals. Quad-Link 3G-SDI support allows you to operate with Ultra HD 4K video format at up to 60 frames per second. With eight bidirectional HD-BNC connectors, the board can be independently configured for both "in" and "out" operation. The board also has a connector for connecting the clock signal.
The FD788 board was tested on OpenYard equipment of the RS101I/RS201I (based on the processors x86 third generation) and RS102I/RS202I (based on the fourth generation x86 processors) series. 1U models have identical characteristics, but with fewer drives (up to 10) and PCIe slots. All servers are equipped with OCP 2.0/3.0 slots and support DDR4 or DDR5 RAM depending on the model.
The OpenYard RS101I and RS102I servers provide the installation and operation of two multi-channel I/O cards FD788, and RS201l and RS202 - six.
Checking the compatibility of OpenYard servers with the SoftLab-NSC FD788 I/O board is an important step in our technology alliance program. Such integration tests allow not only to expand the ecosystem of compatible solutions, but also accelerate the introduction of domestic IT products into critical market segments. We are convinced that an open partnership model is the key to creating a trusted digital environment for Russian business, said Natalia Kurilina, Head of Technology Partners at OpenYard.
