Solar addVisor 2.1
On October 20, 2022, RTK-Solar announced the release of an updated version of the Solar addVisor 2.1 system for optimizing labor efficiency and organizational development.
According to the company, the key change in version 2.1 was the updated functionality to automatically identify areas of development of employee competencies. Previously, the product made it possible to compare the profiles of more and less efficient employees working in only one position. Solar addVisor users can now compare the profiles of employees in any position and from any department, since in large organizations people in different positions can perform similar functional duties. At the same time, it has become easier to identify differences: you can make a selection according to the "Differences" parameter, and the system will show differences in the profiles of the employees of interest to the head. So you can quickly understand what makes one employee more productive than others.
Effective employee development is a driver of productivity growth throughout the organization. As of October 2022, to identify points of professional growth, the company's employees mainly use the results of the 360 assessment, performance review and other similar procedures for assessing the effectiveness of personnel. But such an organizational-manual method is complex and time-consuming, so it must be supplemented with automated data collection tools . Solar addVisor quickly collects information about the effectiveness of personnel, and now - about skills. This optimizes the process of planning the development of managers and employees, including for the formation of a personnel reserve in the company. told Alexey Khvostantsev, project manager of Solar addVisor "RTK-Solar" |
In previous versions of the system, the average job profile was formed according to the following parameters: working time (active time, average start and end times), application categories used (average use time), characteristic of the application job. In Solar addVisor 2.1, the position profile was supplemented with parameters from the employee's email and work calendar, such as: time spent in the mail and in meetings, the number of meetings of different duration, the number of participants in meetings, the number of messages sent (total and average), the time of meetings.
To optimize the interpretation of the obtained results when comparing profiles, all parameters were grouped by the skills they characterize, and a hint can be obtained with a description of each parameter.
Also in this version, the system interface is noticeably optimized: the logic of working with the product has become more intuitive due to the use of a filter system when comparing job profiles.
In addition, the various Solar addVisor tools now display information about the location of the selected group or employee in the organizational structure hierarchy to help you work with the organizational structure.
The advanced reporting system in Solar addVisor 2.1 was supplemented by the ability to export various graphs and histograms generated by the system, as well as information about the employee's activity per day (employee timing).
In addition, the updated version updated the productivity reference and categories of applications and web resources used by employees, their number has been significantly expanded. The reference interface is optimized in terms of working with unknown applications and web resources: now they can be assigned categories and productivity, search for them, select several such applications at once to add to the category, etc. The speed of the directory has increased.
The business processes of large organizations often do not provide access to the system of optimizing labor efficiency for all categories of employees, limited only to access for managers. In earlier versions of Solar addVisor, this access setting was carried out only at the level of local accounts, which took a long time with a large number of users. As of version 2.1, system access is automatically configured through Active Directory.
Solar addVisor 1.2 view
On February 1, 2022, Rostelecom-Solar presented a version of the Solar addVisor 1.2 system aimed at helping improve labor productivity and organizational development. The update includes an analysis of signs of professional burnout. In the version presented, the meeting data from Microsoft Outlook is synchronized with the system, which allows you to take into account the time spent at the meeting when assessing the workload. The changes also affected employee activity statistics - now it takes into account work activity on weekends.
Solar addVisor 1.2 has the ability to identify signs of professional burnout among employees. The system analyzes work at night and on weekends, average daily meeting time, average daily overtime, unproductive activity, reduced working time, breaks during working time. On the basis of the listed indicators, a burnout index is calculated on a 100-point scale. When one of the analyzed indicators begins to exceed the threshold value set for it, it begins to affect the index.
In this case, the system highlights the burnout index in color, depending on the range in which its value is located. From 0 to 24 - green zone (value within the permissible norm), from 25 to 69 - yellow (obvious signs of burnout, which need to be paid attention to, take measures), from 70 to 100 - red (it is necessary to urgently analyze the situation and take appropriate measures). By default, the list of employees with burnout characteristics is sorted in descending order of the burnout index value.
"Burnout prevention is one of the key features of the Solar addVisor system. Enhanced functionality allows company managers to take timely measures to restore and maintain employee efficiency, thereby preventing negative impact on productivity in the organization, "- noted Aleksei Solovyov, Head of Solar addVisor at Rostelecom-Solar. |
This product release has optimized workload analysis for employees and departments. In the details of the Groups and Employees sections, the Work on Weekends indicator appeared, which reflects the average work time of the selected group or specific employees on weekends.
This feature allows you to identify employees who work on weekends, assess the amount of workovers, and see a more accurate picture of the workload of the employee, department, and the entire organization.
Starting with Solar addVisor 1.2, the system receives information information about scheduled Microsoft Outlook meetings, now they are taken into account in activity statistics as productive time.
On the Average Meeting Time widget, the employee detail shows the average total time of employee meetings per week. When selecting a specific date on the widget "Time for calendar meetings" - the total time for meetings on a specific day. Thus, you can get objective information about the workload of the employee.
Together with the advent of additional functionality, the current characteristics were optimized. In particular, to speed up the web interface and reduce resource consumption, Solar addVisor 1.2 has changed the way statistics are calculated. In version 1.2, they are previously aggregated on the server, and at the request of the user, they quickly appear in the widget. In addition, the update has the ability to scale horizontally, which reduced the load on the nodes of the system and increased its fault tolerance.
2021: Solar addVisor System Description
According to the information for May 2021, the Solar addVisor system analyzes the activity of employees during the working day and allows you to assess the productivity and efficiency of personnel and make decisions on the organizational development of the company. The software product is aimed at top managers, heads of divisions and HR specialists of large commercial and government structures.
Solar addVisor is an EPM (Employee Productivity Monitoring) solution. According to the research company Gartner, the prevalence of EPM systems in the world at the moment is 1-5%, the market is at an early stage of development and has great growth potential. The software product "Rostelecom-Solar" implements an optimal approach to monitoring productivity and labor efficiency in the company. Unlike systems similar in functionality, Solar addVisor does not focus on the amount of time spent and tracking employees, does not burden the company's staff with the need to regularly fill out questionnaires to assess productivity.
Based on the employee's real-time actions at the work computer, the system builds the employee's work activity profiles from which the job profile is formed. Based on the profile, the manager analyzes the deviations in combination with the assessment of personnel effectiveness. The result of the analysis is the identification of aspects of work behavior that both increase and decrease efficiency, as well as the development of recommendations for employees in this position to improve their productivity.
For top managers, the system is a convenient analytical assistant in analyzing the number of personnel and organizing end-to-end business processes, assessment of the dynamics of the workload of the organization's divisions, elimination of organizational barriers, etc. Data on the activity and productivity of employees to line and HR managers, job profiles, discipline information, applications used, and sites visited will help you justify the number and role model in the units and make decisions to improve the operational efficiency of the units, employees, processes, and structures.
Solar addVisor also provides an employee's personal account in which everyone can see the same slices of data about their work activity that are displayed in the top manager and manager. This will help the worker increase their productivity by identifying growth points and managing their work hours.
