The Russian brand Solaris in the first year of operation produced 26 thousand cars, taking a place in the top three leaders of the domestic market. This was announced on February 28, 2025 by the press service of the AGR Automobile Plant. According to the company, the Solaris HS model has become one of the best-selling sedans in the country, and the production capacity of the enterprise continues to increase.

According to Avtostat, the Solaris HS sedan at the end of 2024 took third place in the ranking of the best-selling sedans in Russia with a result of 13 thousand copies sold. The first two places in this list were taken by cars of the Lada brand - Granta (110.6 thousand units) and Vesta (87.8 thousand units).

Solaris HS

The Solaris brand is represented on the Russian market by four models: the HC crossover, the KRS and HS sedans, and the KRX cross-hatchback. All cars are produced at the facilities of the AGR Automobile Plant, which operates using a full-cycle technology that includes stamping, welding, painting and assembly.

An important aspect of production is localization, which implies the use of Russian steel, the introduction of domestic components and developments, as well as the ERA-GLONASS system. During the year of work at the enterprise, technical developments of plant engineers were introduced and new business and production processes were launched.

The company completely refused technical support from foreign partners, which is a significant step towards technological independence in the Russian automotive industry. In addition, Solaris cars are equipped with the new Russian complex ecosystem "Solaris. Digital car. "
