The SOLVO company in September, 2016 announced release of own WEB and Android of applications for visualization of statistical and dynamic data about work of any logistic object in a graphic type. The application is available in three versions:

  • For warehouse complexes
  • For the container terminal
  • For multi-profile transshipment facility

For application creation specialists of "SOLVO" were guided by the best world practices, including WERC (Warehousing Education and Research Council, the USA) and also fundamental provisions of the leading European institute of merchandizing and logistics - Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics in Germany.

Thanks to a possibility of control of work of a logistic object in real time, use of the KPI application helps with the solution of a number of managerial tasks: as a result, time for drawing up reports decreases, the transparency of production processes increases, time expenditure on job evaluation of a logistic object decreases, the possibility of effective motivation of specific employees appears.

Principle of work of Solvo.KPI

The user works with indicators via the graphical interface implemented in the form of the application for Android or the web page. The module KPI has mobile version and support of touch screens (for monoblocks and notebooks with the touch screen). The main window of the program represents "meter panel" on which the user places indicators necessary for it. For convenience of the user the panel consists of the tabs similar to tabs a browser web.

Types of graphic elements are available: the diagram, the pie chart, the histogram, the table, hours and date and also a unique graphic element - the indicator of process and others. Any indicator, be it the table or the chart, it is possible to export to Excel, at the same time only those data which the user limited to filters are subject to export. It is possible to export as a tab entirely, then tables are located on different sheets, and one selected indicator.

Availability of indicators and functionality of the module to the user is defined by access rights. For example, the system administrator can prohibit the user editing indicators, limit visibility of some indicators. Each user works in the module under the account. All changes remain automatically, thus, termination of work of the program or the browser does not lead to losses of the made changes.

In total at the moment from 30 to 50 basic indicators depending on an object type are by default available to users, however the list can be expanded in case of interest of the client.

The application underwent validation of Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics within the general annual validation of the Solvo.WMS system.
