Sonda RTI is the system of operational identification, it is intended for fast confirmation or identification on a fingerprint by search of compliance in databases with a record count in several millions. A system is focused first of all on use by law enforcement agencies and special services.

Advantages

  • Sweep rate in hundreds of times exceeds speeds traditional ADIS (the automated dactyloscopic information systems) due to use of the special algorithms of acceleration significantly reducing requirements to technical means.
  • Access to a system is provided from any computer by means of the WEB INTERFACE without installation of the special software or from the mobile terminal of identification.
  • The database of the server forms due to import of prints from the systems of any other producers using the international protocol of information exchange of ANSI/NIST in versions of FBI and Interpol.

Types of checks

  • Check 1:1 - comparison of fingerprints of the fingerprint checked with a template on its ID card or other identity certificate.
  • Check 1: N - search of compliance to a fingerprint of the server checked in the database using wireless communication.
  • Check 1: N - search of compliance in the local database of the mobile terminal.

Use of a system of operational identification of Sonda RTI significantly increases safety of holding mass sporting and public events - the Olympic Games, the World Cups, festivals, concerts - due to fast check of detainees and suspicious persons according to different databases, for example, on "black list" of hooligan fans or searched on suspicion of participation in terrorist attacks.

The software package of developer - SDK

Software packages of the developer are intended for integration of biometric identification into a broad spectrum of application solutions of police and civil appointment (for the version of the missile defense of a product):

  • For creation of ADIS of law enforcement agencies - provides a full range of necessary functions for work with daktilokarta, prints of palms and traces from places of crimes. Solutions conform to the NIST EFTS standard. For processing of prints the method of compression of WSQ certified by FBI is used. Supports exchange protocols by information of ANSI/NIST in versions of FBI and Interpol.
  • The software package for work with databases of unlimited amount within large civil projects - scopes of application: electronic passports and visas, systems of vote, car driver licenses, bank transactions and another. The format of a print Sonda and the international NIST MINEX formats (ANSI/INCIST 378), ISO 19794-2 is used.
  • Light version of the software package allowing to work with a biometric system. It is applied in the systems of biometric passports, ID cards, payment and other systems. Basic functions are performed during the work with fingerprints: image capture by scanners of different types, creation of templates of fingerprints and their comparison in modes 1: N and 1:1, is used only the international NIST MINEX formats (ANSI/INCIST 378), ISO 19794-2.
  • The software package of the developer allowing to create applications for work with identity certificates of the seaman. The Sonda format fingerprint template is used. Conforms to the biometric standard of the International Labour Organization SID-0002 and the Convention on identity certificates of the seaman - 2003 (No. 185).
  • The applied applications allowing to work with data of biometric identification on remote stations, to perform segmentation of a complete print of a palm, prints of two or four fingers received from biometric scanners on separate images.

Sonda SDK PE 1.2

The professional version of the software package is intended for work with databases of unlimited amount within large civil projects. The packet uses the Oracle database management system. It is scaled by adding of calculators and provides fast identification at the expense of special algorithms of acceleration and the distributed search. Templates of the Sonda format and the international NIST MINEX formats (ANSI/INCIST 378), ISO 19794-2 are applied. The algorithm of SDK PE showed the best results on the international testings of FVC - Fingerprint Verification Competition and also the best results of accuracy on Certification of a NIST - MINEX.

Sonda SDK SE 3.2

The standard version of the software package is intended for fast and easy creation of the systems using a fingerprint for authorization, verification or identification of the personality. The packet performs basic functions during the work with fingerprints:

  • image capture by scanners of different types,
  • creation of templates of fingerprints,
  • comparison of prints in modes 1: N and 1:1.

Templates of the Sonda format and the international NIST MINEX formats (ANSI/INCIST 378), ISO 19794-2 are used. The algorithm of SDK SE showed the best results on the international testings of FVC - Fingerprint Verification Competition and also the best results of accuracy on certification of National Institute of standards and technologies of the USA - MINEX.

2017: New algorithm of a system of identification

Sonda Technology provided at the beginning of 2017 a new algorithm of a system of identification on fingerprints on the international testing of FVC (Fingerprint Verification Competition). This testing is held by the International biometric association organized by a number of leading universities and laboratories from Italy, the USA, Spain.

Testing of FVC acts on the permanent basis, and performs comparison of the algorithms of identification provided by the companies developers by assessment of accuracy of fingerprint recognition. Also the speed of comparison and code amount of templates of prints is considered.

The algorithm of identification of Sonda Technology company provided on May 26, 2017 on FV-HARD-1.0 test showed the best results on the majority of indicators. This test compares two fingerprints in the verification mode, and contains complex cases (distortions, noises, deformations) which considerably complicate verification process. Test results not always reflect the expected accuracy in real applications, but allow to differentiate performance of different algorithms of fingerprint recognition better.

"We constantly improve identification algorithms. Three months ago on the same test we had 3 – 5 places in the different modes. And today we not only showed the high accuracy of identification, but also considerably were ahead of most of participants of testing on the speed of comparison and length of the code of templates of prints. The main thing that we have a big reserve in further improvement of algorithms, and we hope to record in the future these improvements on the next testing. The received results will allow us to create a broad spectrum of the application programs executing fast and exact identification with high reliability.
