Global Management System 8.0

On October 22, 2014 the Dell company announced a release of the new version of software of GMS 8.0. It helps customers and partners to simplify and increase effective management of the Dell NGFW firewall, to facilitate resource consumption, to reduce the general risks and to observe thanks to a new feature of automation.

GMS 8.0 software - addition of firewalls of a line of Dell SuperMassive 9000 and other products of the Dell NGFW family. The software solution is intended for consolidation of systems management of security, simplification of processes of administration and the solution of the arising problems, centralized operation by all operational aspects of infrastructure of security, including implementation of security policies, monitoring of events in real time, the analysis and journalizing.

GMS 8.0 is equipped with a new feature of the automation providing correct changes the politician by performing procedures of setup, comparison, assessment, check and approval the politician before their implementation. Audit and journalizing of change the politician allows to be convinced that the firewall completely meets security requirements. Security management of all network allows to simplify considerably process of protection of a working environment for all lifecycle in comparison with the system requiring manual adjustment of each device separately.

Software of GMS 8.0 will be available for sale at the beginning of 2015.
