2023: Presentation of the prototype IIoT.Istok.Military
The Roselectronics holding of Rostec State Corporation has developed an IT solution based on the industrial Internet of Things, which allows you to monitor the state of weapons, special equipment, military facilities - from ships and vehicles to hospitals and garrisons, as well as create their digital counterparts. This was announced on September 1, 2023 to TAdviser by representatives of Rostec.
The solution called IIoT.Istok.Military is another module of the industrial digital platform internet of things IIoT.Istok created by the specialists of the NPP "Istok" named after Shokin Roselectronics holding Software. collects information from sensors built into the equipment and sends it to the control center. According to the developers, the introduction of the system is designed to increase the efficiency of the operation of military equipment and structures, the efficiency of decision-making.
The module allows you to organize a monitoring and management system of technical processes, as well as form a digital twin of weapons, special equipment, engineering infrastructure or technological installations. By collecting and processing big data, the solution is able to ensure the transparency of equipment operation and identify trends in its operation, predict the state of the equipment and plan maintenance.
"Digitalization today has become a new growth point for military management. Module IIoT.Istok.Military, as part of the industrial Internet of Things platform, will allow organizing monitoring of various equipment in real time and thus increase the safety and reliability of the operation of military equipment and structures, the availability and reliability of information, the efficiency of decision-making, - said Vitaly Alexandrov, director of digital transformation at NPP Istok. |
According to him, as of the beginning of September 2023, a prototype of this module was developed, and in the future the system will be able to cover almost the entire range of tasks related to the daily activities of the armed forces and with the management of the life cycle of the WWST. "
