Spring IO is a single platform of the corporate level for creation of modern applications.
The platform is modular that provides support of dependences, full control for developers at deployment of those parts which are required for them is retained. Spring IO completely consists of an open source code.
As a part of the Spring IO platform the modules Foundation Layer and Execution Layer are subject-oriented environments of execution (DSR).
Foundation Layer consists of modules of a core Spring and third-party components unified for providing the smooth course of development. DSR provide to Spring IO Execution Layer considerable simplification of creation of relatives to real tasks on the basis of JVM. As a part of the first release of Spring IO two DSR: Spring Boot and Grails. Spring XD will be added during 2014.
