2026: Launch of satellite communication service on the domestic equipment "Star-T"

On January 22, 2026, STEKKOM announced the start of providing commercial satellite communication services based on the domestic telecommunications equipment of Star-T STT.

STT telecommunication equipment was developed by Russian engineers of Star-T to maintain and develop communication networks based on the UHP platform of Istar. The key quality of STT equipment is full technical compatibility with the existing UHP infrastructure, which allows you to update existing networks based on the UHP platform, ensuring a smooth transition to Russian developments without losing functionality.

STACKOM provides satellite communication services based on domestic spacecraft, guaranteeing the stable provision of high-quality services throughout the Russian Federation, including remote and Arctic regions, as well as in areas where domestic companies are present abroad, for example, on the African continent.
