2024: Product Announcement
At the end of September 2024, the Chinese company Meizu introduced the StarV Ring 2 smart ring with functions for tracking vital signs of the body. The novelty, in particular, is able to determine blood sugar levels and assess the risk of hyperglycemia with an accuracy of 80%.
On the inner side of the ring there are sensors responsible for collecting various indicators. The ring records heart rate, blood oxygen levels and body temperature. In addition, sleep duration and quality are monitored. This data is clearly displayed in the mobile application for the smartphone. Thus, the user can monitor his state of health and, for example, make changes to the daily routine to improve well-being.
The gadget also allows you to form a health index and track vitality. You can monitor the level of activity and the general state of the body. The mobile application gives various recommendations that will help the user optimize physical activity and monitor progress over time.
The StarV Ring 2 integrates with other devices in the Meizu ecosystem, making it possible to form an intelligent space. In particular, you can interact with StarV Air 2 smart glasses. The ring makes it possible to control applications on a smartphone - scroll through short videos, remotely take photos and perform other actions. It is allowed to unlock the car using proximity sensors.
The novelty, as noted, received an elegant design. It is made in the color "black meteorite." As of the end of September 2024, the StarV Ring 2 smart ring is offered at an estimated price of $185.[1]
