On June 29, 2023, the Russian company Antifishing introduced Start REQ, a security management system that helps product teams create secure software products as part of DevSecOps processes .

Start REQ implements the Shift-Left Security approach in DevSecOps processes and prevents vulnerabilities and configuration errors at the start of the development process, which makes it possible to minimize future attacks after release.

Many product teams and customers understand the importance of security requirements and the benefits of the Shift-Left Security approach, but the work routine may not take into account critical requirements or figure out how to implement them correctly, taking into account the specifics of their product. And security teams do not always have the opportunity to allocate qualified experts to work with the product team, "said Sergey Voldokhin, Product Director of the Start X Ecosystem.

Start REQ contains an interactive database of security requirements for software products, external and internal regulations, laws and industry practices. Product teams fill out a questionnaire and receive up-to-date safety requirements in a language that is understandable to developers, including acceptance criteria for safety at the release stage. These requirements are automatically delivered to the developer's work environment - a task tracker and implemented by the team along with functional requirements.

This allows you to speed up the release of digital products and at the same time ensure their protection against possible attacks, leaks and failures.
