2024: Product Announcement

On February 14, 2024, Sparrow BioAcoustics announced the Stethophone mobile application, which allows you to use your smartphone as a stethoscope. Thanks to this, patients can collect, analyze and transmit important data on the health of their heart to the attending physician remotely - from anywhere where there is a connection to the cellular network.

Stethophone uses a built-in microphone smartphone to capture acoustic waves formed by the heart. With sophisticated algorithms, these sounds are then filtered, allowing for the isolation of clear medical-level diagnostic signals. Some are said to be at the furthest limits of the human auditory range.

In addition to collecting and analyzing readings, Sparrow BioAcoustics offers physicians advanced imaging tools that help them understand how to interpret diagnostic data. These visualizations allow you to recognize patterns and anomalies that, using traditional cardiodiagnosis, can be missed. Thus, the accuracy and efficiency of detecting possible anomalies is improved. It is expected that the new bioacoustic technology will make it faster and easier to detect heart diseases of varying severity.
