Svyazcom.SmartConnect is the platform for the organization of work of the services helping connection of subscribers at their unavailability, employment, other reasons of non receipt of a call.

As a part of the services serviced by the platform for April 2, 2015:

  • Voice mail.
  • Notifications on emergence in network and the passed calls.
  • Different options of callback.
  • Calls at the expense of the called party.
  • The promised payment and many other things.

A system has modular architecture and is easily scaled under requirements of the customer.

Functionality

  • Collection of information about the passed calls, about availability of the subscriber in network, about the subscriber's status (the line is taken/is free).
  • Set of MCA services (Missed Calls Alert):
    • Service "You were called". Notifications on the missed calls.
    • Service "I in touch". Notifications on emergence in network of subscribers to which could not phone earlier.
    • I Will lock "In touch".
    • Service "The line is free". The notification on release of earlier occupied subscriber.

  • Set of VM services (Voicemail):
  • Record and storage of voice messages.
  • Voice box with flexible logic of substitution of old messages.
  • Listening of voice messages — as a call on the short number corresponding to the message and through the IVR menu of a voice box.
  • SMS notifications of the subscriber on the new message which came to a voice box that the voice box is completed or almost filled, about the expiration of storage of the message, about perfect access to its voice box via the web interface.
  • SMS notifications of the subscriber that the message left to them is listened.
  • Management of voice greetings through the IVR menu.
  • Delivery of voice messages on MMS (Voice2MMS) or on email.
  • Management of personal greetings — an opportunity to write the greetings in the answering machine and to set rules of their playing.
  • Automatic removal of old messages.

  • A set of services Collect Call (a call at the expense of the called party):
    • the Outgoing call at insufficiency of means on the personal account of the subscriber. The subscriber can call at the expense of the caused party if it is the subscriber of the same operator. The called party will be informed on it and will be able to refuse.
    • Informing subscribers of other mobile operators. At the expense of the subscriber of other operator it is impossible to make a call, but it is possible to send it the SMS notification with the offer to call back or use BeepCall service.
    • Formation of CDR records according to which called parties instead of defiant are rated.

  • A set of services Promise Payment (the promised payment):
    • Account replenishment is on credit without interruption of a call.
    • Different options of the choice of the amount of replenishment (input in the voice menu, SMS/USSD command, dynamic determination of the amount, etc.).
    • Interaction with billing within service.
    • SMS notifications of the subscriber A on a request status for "The promised payment".

  • The service of BeepCall (Psevdovyzov) is an alternative method to notify subscribers on the passed calls. At a lack of means for commission of a call to other subscribers (the network or network of other operator), the platform makes a false call on behalf of the calling party. In this case connection is not established, but at the called party the real passed call will be recorded that, unlike the SMS notification, provokes to a response call much more often.
  • Service of CallBack an Undefined — service thanks to which subscribers will be able to order callback on the hidden numbers. Different options of order taking from subscribers are supported: SMS, USSD, IVR. The subscriber (the customer of service) has an opportunity to hide the number at callback or to leave number open.
  • Service of Voice Call Auto CallBack — the order of an automatic callback when the called party is busy or out of an area of coverage of network. At a call on number of such subscriber the offer to order service is lost. After the request is accepted, the platform traces a status of the subscriber to which it was not succeeded to connect. When the subscriber becomes available (is released), the platform begins processing of the request — makes callback. The order of dialing and switching on subscribers is flexibly configured. The platform can also send the offer to use service in USSD Push. The customer of service is informed on a request status by the SMS.
  • IVR. Implementation of any logic of the voice menu according to requirements of the customer.

  • Setup of SMS notifications:
    • Setup of texts of SMS notifications without interruption of work of service.
    • B the quality of rooms of the sender can be specified either number of service, or number of calling.
    • the Configured logic of processing of the anti-caller ID.
    • Operator and subscriber black and white lists for SMS notifications.
    • the Configured logic of formation of group or single notifications on the missed calls.
    • Different modes of delivery at different times day (day/night).
    • Setup of storage life of information on the passed calls.
    • Parental control — duplication of SMS notifications on other number.

  • Adding of advertizing in the end of SMS notifications. Flexible configuration of use of several advertizing messages.
  • Support of MNP.
  • Multilingualism in all user interfaces (SMS/USSD/IVR/Web).
  • The Provisioning-interface for management of profiles.
  • Management of services from subscribers through SMS/USSD/IVR/Web.
  • The web interface of the administrator (reports for work of a system, online-monitoring, viewing and editing of profiles of subscribers, listening of the written voice greetings).
  • Ample opportunities on a combination and options of use of services:
    • the possibility of use of a profile of the subscriber by default Is provided.
    • For voice mail there is a possibility of creation of several classes of service for service use. They can be used for creation of flexible tariff policy and stimulation to connection of additional services. By default in a system two classes of service are configured:
      • Dynamic voice mail (with the minimum opportunities).
      • Static voice mail (complete opportunities for setup and the increased storage life of messages).

Properties

  • A system is tested by heavy loads 10+ of one million processed events daily.
  • Possibility of inclusion in installation of own SMSC for economy of licenses of regular (Legacy) SMSC of the operator
  • Ample opportunities of virtualization.
  • Flexibility in implementation of the software and in use of protocols. Protocols are supported: ISUP, SIP, SIP-I, SIP-T, MAP, INAP and CAMEL.
  • Connection to SS7 both on E1, and on SIGTRAN.
  • The documentary HTTP interface on control of the voice engine that allows the operator to create independently based on the solution new voice services.

  • Failure of one node does not lead to a stop or considerable delays of provision of services.
  • All components of a system are reserved.
  • The stock on system performance makes not less than 50% of the planned loading.
  • A system includes tools for backup accomplishment. The opportunity of accomplishment of both complete, and incremental backup is given.
  • Execution of operations of backup is carried out without interruption in system operation.
  • Together with proposed solution the spare part kit is delivered.

In the minimum configuration a system is installed on two dedicated servers. Servers integrate in a failover cluster.

Integration with SMSC is optional.

2015: Start of NotifyCall service based on Svyazcom.SmartConnect

What is NotifyCall

If the subscriber did not phone to other subscriber, for example, in case of unavailability, employment or lack of means for a call, then about it notifications, most often — the SMS go. The NotifyCall service (or a pseudo-call) is the passed call instead of the SMS. Connection is not established, but on phone the real passed call is fixed. Such method of the notification increases voice traffic and, therefore, revenues of the operator as the passed call provokes the subscriber to a response call more often.

The pseudo-call becomes on subscribers and also on numbers of any other operators. We provided flexible configuration of operation parameters of a system. For example, there is an opportunity to set the list of numbers on which sending NotifyCall is resolved and also to set the maximum quantity of notifications for the period to time. The service works in roaming.
