2021: Stryker sells T/Pump patient heating system business to C2Dx

In mid-February 2021, C2Dx acquired Stryker's thermotherapy system business called T/Pump for an undisclosed amount. The T/Pump system will be the second line of products distributed by C2Dx.

The T/Pump product line provides localized thermotherapy to relieve pain and enhance patient comfort. These devices are used for orthopedic conditions, acute injuries, chronic pain and muscle stretching. They can also be used for skin injuries, burns, bruises, and other localized pain syndromes such as arthritis and neuritis.

T/Pump provides adjustable heating and cooling and provides multiple treatment options, allowing the therapy to be customized to suit the patient's needs. To use the device, tap water is poured into the container or ice is laid. A wide neck facilitates the task, and a sealed cap prevents leaking. At the same time, sealed Clik-Tite connectors allow you to connect several electrodes to one device to simultaneously affect various pain points.

The devices are equipped with a three-level safety system that protects patients from burns and hypothermia. T/Flash technology provides a slight change in temperature, creating a pleasant sensation in patients, and sound and visual alarms alert nurses to lower water levels or other problems.
