"TCS Proizvodstvo" is a specialized software product for manufacturing enterprises developed by CI Es Development company. TCS allows at the modern level to organize joint work of designers, technologists, planners, suppliers, economists, production workers and other specialists, at all stages of order fulfillment: from development of construction of a product before production in workshops.

For what TCS is necessary?

Use of TCS helps the enterprise:

• To put new in production quicker and to upgrade products;
• To plan the needs of production for materials and purchased products more precisely and to monitor their real existence in divisions;
• To plan production process more in details and it is better to control it;
• To estimate planned and actual costs on production more objectively;
• It is more rational to organize work of the employees.

For whom TCS is necessary?

Developed taking into account specifics of multinomenclature machine-assembling production, a system is ideal for application in mechanical engineering or similar areas.

• An opportunity to logically coordinate the tasks, most important for production (design-technology preparation, planning, providing with necessary resources, production control) in one program is especially valuable to the small and medium enterprises. Also the possibility of rather quick and simple start of the program in operation without very difficult, expensive and long implementation projects is important;
• The large plants can apply TCS at the level both the enterprises in general, and separate divisions: there are nine different license types ("PDM", Technology, "Production preparation", Warehouse, etc.). Use of industrial DBMS provides scaling options and works with large volumes of data.

How does TCS work?

TCS is a modern electronic environment of collective work for design, technology, planned, production and other services of the enterprise. The uniform base accumulates, necessary data are constantly updated and supported in current status:

• Products – information about all projectible and products taking into account options of a complete set, configurations, executions, etc. (the nomenclature, characteristics, specifications, 3D models, design documentation, etc.);
• Standards – information on the used technology processes and the existing standards;
• Resources – information the applied materials, means of equipment, the equipment;
• Stocks – information on the available stocks of different inventory items and their movement;
• Production – information on orders, plans and the current actual state of production.

And also the history of design-technology changes, production of parts and nodes and accomplishment of orders, receipts, movements and consumption of materials and component parts in production and many other things.

All data are closely coordinated among themselves, relevant, available in one program and make a complete picture.

From the technical point of view TCS represents a client-server system. For database management industrial Microsoft SQL Server DBMS is used. As client jobs normal computers of "office" class can be used. The most modern operating systems of Microsoft and the application are supported. There is a possibility of independent setup of a system, from simple adding of necessary attributes and characteristics of objects, before creation of own functions.

• Operating system: The operating system is defined by requirements of the SQL server (WinXP (SP2) above);
• DBMS SQL server: Microsoft SQL Server of 2005 Express Edition with Advanced Services (SP2) above.

Client place

• Operating system: Windows XP(SP2) above;
• Software: Microsoft Office of Excel 2000 above, Microsoft Office of the Access 2000 above;

Hardware

• Characteristics of computers are defined by requirements of the Operating System and DBMS.
