Since October, 2010 in Moscow the TEDxVorobyovy-Gory project started. The project represents a cycle of conferences of the TED format where the most inspired representatives of different fields of activity for a 15-minute performance gather on one stage. The project slogan, "The ideas, worthy distribution", explains its main task — to tell about the interesting ideas as it is possible for the bigger number of people.
For the first time the TED conference took place in 1984 in the USA. Richard Saul Vurmen and Harry Marx became her organizers. For lifetime of TED such famous people as the former U.S. President Bill Clinton, Nobel laureates James Watson, Murray Gell-Mann and also the founder of Wikipedia Jimmy Wales and many others got to the USA in the list of speakers. Now the TED format successfully extends through the TEDx conferences worldwide.
In Moscow two TEDxVorobyovy-Gory conferences (Virtual reality and "New energy") took place, the third conference will take place in March of this year and will be devoted to the subject "Space".
