TTK of WebProtection

Since November 2 the TransTeleCom company offers the corporate clients the WebProtection service providing protection of their Internet traffic against harmful, inappropriate and excess content. The WebProtection service appears based on cloud infrastructure of Zscaler company on the "security as service" model (security as a service).

Cloud infrastructure of security of Zscaler company consists of more than 40 specialized nodes placed in different points of the globe (including in Moscow), and provides cleaning of Internet traffic of the user near his location. It allows to protect traffic practically without reduction in the rate of data transmission. Thus, the Russian companies had an opportunity to provide to the employees using public channels of the Internet, an effective comprehensive protection not only in Russia but also during the business trips and business trips to other countries of the world, and irrespective of the used access devices.

The "security as service" model does not require the capital investments and installation of the additional hardware or software. The WebProtection service exempts users from accomplishment of the routine procedures of security connected with control of servers, elimination of vulnerabilities and data-refresh and signatures. Use of WebProtection service considerably reduces total cost of ownership security aids in comparison with use of traditional devices and software, thereby having a positive impact on efficiency of primary activity.

The WebProtection service is intended for commercial and government institutions of any scale. The "security as service" model requires from IT administrators to define only corporate policy of usage of the Internet and according to the instruction to organize readdressing of Internet traffic of employees in "cloud" of Zscaler company which will provide the admission of useful content and blocking of all the rest. The WebProtection service can be available to all staff of customer organization of a TTK, including those who for Internet connection use notebooks or mobile phones.

Consumers of WebProtection service receive:

• protection of Web traffic against viruses, harmful and spyware;
• blocking of malicious content, phishing, bots, P2P-applications;
• filtering of the outbound and incoming traffic of electronic Web mail from spam, viruses and malicious codes;
