SmartVoyager FX868 - a radio modem of production of JSC Teleofis is intended for work as a node of network of collecting and data transmission on a radio channel at a frequency of 869 MHz (ISM - the neletsenziruyemy RF spectrums selected for wireless communication of industrial, scientific or medical equipment).

Separate node of network - SmartVoyager FX868 radio modem working at a frequency of 869 MHz in the mode of a self-organizing network and 25 MW. The radio modem provides direct connection to 4 telemetric exits that allows to use one radio modem for service to four metering devices. For implementation of function of load limitation two relays of management of external contactors of 220 V are built in the modem. The integral unit of a power supply of 220 V allows to integrate a system without additional costs.

Range of 869 MHz - is most perspective for transfer of telemetered informations owing to small load of frequency with third-party devices (the systems of wireless signaling 433 MHz, wireless computer networks). Radio waves with a frequency of 869 MHz get through overlappings, in comparison with the frequency of 2.4 GHz better that provides more reliable radio channel in the housing estate.

The transferring part of the modem is constructed based on the radio module Telit NE50-868. He is responsible for receiving and transmitting data on a radio channel. The microcontroller manages operation of the radio module. Its functions include signal processing from telemetric exits, management of the relay of load limitation, ensuring transfer of the saved-up data on the schedule, storage of the exact time for the organization of multitariff accounting and some other office functions.

Maintaining the exact time in a radio modem allows to organize multitariff accounting even for the one-rate metering device that does not require replacement of the metering device by modern, and owing to leads to cutting of costs for installation of a system. Each radio modem has 4 inputs which can be used as for connection to the telemetric outputs of metering devices, and to different sensors of signaling — opening of a cabinet, etc. Control of external devices is exercised via two built-in relays which contacts allow to work with the alternating voltage of 220B.

For connection to the devices having the serial interface radio modems have RS-232 or RS-485 port.

Central node of network is the radio modem - the coordinator of network. It serves for ensuring creation and network functioning. Nodes of network can function both in the router mode, and in the mode of a final node of network. The router performs not only functions of relaying, but also all functions of a final node of network. Not necessarily all nodes of network should work in the router mode, application on some nodes of the mode of a final node (without relaying) allows to lower both time of creation, and complexity of a logical structure of network, in cases when in the small territory a significant amount of radio modems of network is located. The Router or End device mode are defined by setup.

The coordinator of network is connected to a proyebrazovatel of the interface RS-232/Ethernet, GPRS to the WRX700-R4 terminal or 3G to the router which provides direct connection with the database and transfer of cuts of data on TCP via the Internet. At setup of the schedule of radio modems for sending half-hour cuts of consumption data will come to base each 30 minutes. The schedule adapts to problems of a system and can vary over a wide range, for example for receiving daily or monthly cuts.

Floor node

By means of placement of four telemetric inputs on a radio modem, the integrator has an opportunity to apply one radio modem to removal of indications from four metering devices with telemetric exits.

Control mode loading allows to disconnect the consumer when exceeding of the set restriction of power consumption. The radio modem in this mode conducts automatic control of the current power consumption and at the included restriction by means of the built-in relays manages work of the contactors who are disconnecting the consumer. Depending on type of the applied contactors perhaps automatic return switch-on of the consumer through a certain interval.

Scalability of a system up to 10 thousand nodes in network.
