2020: The announcement of a system of remote monitoring of health and a defibrillation from Philips
At the end of July, 2020 the Royal Philips company provided the system of remote monitoring and a defibrillation of Tempus ALS for the emergency pre-hospital medical care. Tempus ALS includes the portable monitor of vital signs for remote use (Tempus Pro) and a professional defibrillator (Tempus LS-Manual) which can also be applied separately. Both devices are connected to a wireless network for data exchange and transfer of the test and graphic information on a software platform of IntelliSpace Corsium from Philips.
In emergencies when the account goes on seconds, our system can help doctors to make the difficult decision on treatment and transportation. It becomes possible thanks to collecting of an expanded range of data on patients and also thanks to the protected stream information transfer in real time, - the manager of therapeutic department of Philips Arman Voskerchyan noted in the press release. |
The defibrillator of Tempus LS-Manual differs in the small sizes and small weight (2 kg) so easily is located in a bag of first aid. The Tempus Pro monitor weighing 3 kg estimates a number of parameters, including removes the ECG in 12 assignments, monitors violations of a rhythm, increase in ST and a segment of QT, estimates capnography, arterial blood pressure and also temperature. In case of an exit of any of these indicators for regulation borders the monitor gives an alarm. USB interfaces and wireless connections allow to expand monitoring and diagnostics using functions of a video laryngoscope and ultrasonography and do not require adding of additional self-contained units. The Tempus Pro Li-ion battery ensures smooth operation within 10 hours and 45 minutes at the brightness of display of 60%.[1]
