Optical pickups which will be able "to illuminate" skin for  measurement of level of glucose should become feature of technology of Apple for diabetics. The main difference of such sensors from already existing devices — the noninvasive control method assuming that the analysis will be made without taking of a blood sample.

According to the expert in the field of medicine John Smith, creation of the device for contactless determination of level of glucose in blood is "the most difficult technical task" which it faced in the career.

According to plans of Apple, the device will be able to chityvat also  other  the indications, "vital" for diabetics, such as  heart rate and saturation level of blood oxygen.

It is reported that about development of the device which will determine glucose level in blood by an optical method without blood draw on the analysis, still the founder of Apple Steve Jobs thought. The company works on this project not less than five years, said in the publication CNBC of April 12, 2017.

The idea is still rather far from the embodiment, but Apple already tests on feasibility of an invention and also employed consultants for studying of questions of legislative regulation of similar goods.[1]
