On January 7, 2014 the Thecus company announced an exit of new DWH of N7710-G.

The HSS works on the Intel Pentium G850 dual-core processor with clock rate of 2.9 GHz, has 4 GB of RAM of DDR3 ECC, supports installation of 7 hard drives SATA with a total amount up to 28 TB.

Possibilities of network connection are provided with existence of two ports Gigabit Ethernet and one Ethernet of 10 Gbps (10GbE). For convenience of the user two ports USB 3.0 and six ports USB 2.0 and also HDMI and VGA video connectors are provided.

Index G in the article of model designates feature of DWH - the built-in support of high-speed network interface 10 GbE.

Thecus NAS N7710-G offers users a set of the RAID modes - JBOD, 0, 1, 5, 6, 10 and 50, allowing to select optimal balance between performance and redundancy. For safe data storage enciphering of volumes of RAID on an algorithm of AES with a 256-bit key and also support of antivirus software from McAfee is provided.

The device has certification of VMware V5.5 that confirms its compatibility with the newest technologies of virtualization. The software of Thecus N7710-G Acronis True Image in the automatic mode creates backup copies of data on local or remote carriers.

The Data Guard function represents one more option of reservation, and Data Burn helps to create backup copies on optical disks of CD, DVD or Blu-Ray.
