2023: Product Announcement

In August 2023, the Russian company Termo Glas introduced heated smart glass. It is expected to replace heating radiators in homes.

According to the developers, the Thermo Glass system has uniform electric heating for facade and roofing glazing: without condensate on the window surface, mold and fungus on the frames and slopes, ice and snow accumulation. The development is highly reliable and completely safe to use.

The use of Thermo Glass is several times cheaper than other electric heating systems: 1 sq.m. of heating glass consumes from 25 to 90 watts/hour, like a regular light bulb. Due to the one-way direction of heating, the glass does not heat the street. It retains heat in winter, reflecting it inside the room, and on hot days it does not let summer heat into the house, the Termo Glas company said.

According to the website, smart glass prevents listening to the room using a directional laser beam. Reliability of roof design is increased due to elimination of snow load.

The company uses the following key technologies: electric heating glass and products based on it. By August 2023, the startup has patents for inventions, and during its work the company has carried out more work at more than 8,000 facilities together with Russian and international partners in 6 countries of the world.
