The free Tiles API will help small companies from various industries - from e-commerce to the service sector, as well as non-profit or educational projects. A network of beauty salons can embed a map on the site and mark up a branch network, a smartwatch manufacturer can load a map substrate into a gadget to display the user's route, and a logistics company can integrate a map layer into a CRM system and structure customer orders on it.
Yandex Maps is developing a line of free services to make it easier for entrepreneurs and organizations to access modern geotechnology. The Tiles API gives images of the map underlay - tiles, allowing you to download individual fragments instead of the entire map.
In addition to the Tiles API, geoanalytics are available to analyze the business potential of the city's districts, free organization card functions to attract customers, and some API products within navigation and routing limits. JavaScript API has a limit of 25 thousand requests per day, HTTP geocoder - 1 thousand requests, organization search API - 500 requests.
If the limits are exceeded, the card stops working until the end of the day. Previously, the Tiles API did not have free use. The data obtained should be displayed with the Yandex logo on publicly available sites without paid registration.[1]
