2022: Restart service for algotraiders
April 28, 2022 Tinkoff Investments announced the launch of Tinkoff Invest API - an updated program interface for algorithmic trading (automated). exchange trade
The Tinkoff Invest API service allows customers-developers of trading robots to integrate with the Tinkoff Investment platform. For example, using the API, you can set up all types of trading orders, set up your own analytics system, create trading robots, and also test trading hypotheses based on historical data or in a special sandbox without the risk of losing money.
The updated API has expanded functionality and added tools:
- The updated API is implemented on the gRPC protocol, which, among other things, allows you to automatically create client program code in most programming languages.
- The capabilities of the sandbox, a separate server on which trade hypotheses are tested without putting real bids on the exchange, have been expanded. Sandbox accurately repeats market movements, so you can check strategies based on quotes.
- Enhanced account protection through the introduction of keys with different levels of access. You can obtain a key for each individual invoice, as well as in read-only mode - without the ability to issue requests. This may be useful, for example, for external strategy analytics.
- The set of market data that the trader can receive from the Tinkoff Investment trading platform has been expanded.
- A system of limits for data requests has been introduced - the more active trade, the more requests can be sent to the trading platform.

= comments Anton Kitsun, Head of Investment Business Development Department Tinkoff Investments|"Tinkoff Invest API radically changes the scheme of the algotrader. In addition to performance, a wide range of tools is available to users of the service, which means the maneuverability of trade and the speed of response to market changes, which is important for automated trading.
The updated API version can be used not only by traders creating trading robots, but also by those who plan to develop their own service for a wide range of investors or add trading functionality to existing projects. In the future, we plan to create a showcase of trading robots working on the Tinkoff Invest API in various programming languages, "}}
