2021: Support for transfers through SBP

The Center for Financial Technologies, which provides a set of solutions for banks to work in the Fast Payment System (SBP), announced on August 5, 2021 that it supported the payment service at the initiative of recipients. Through the Golden Crown Platform and online banking Faktura.ru, the first me2me pull operations were carried out as part of certification tests (PVT).

The me2me pull service allows you to make transfers between user accounts opened in different banks. The functionality creates a different customer experience, since it makes it possible to accumulate money in one account from the interface of the BBO system of one bank. To use the service, the client only needs to confirm once in the application of the sending bank consent to replenish the account with the receiving bank.

As of August 2021, using a set of CFT solutions that provide support for all available services (c2c, c2b, me2me), about 70 credit organizations work with the SBP in August 2021. The core of the solution stack is the Golden Crown Cloud Platform, which serves as a Third Party Processor for members of the Express Checkout System.

2020: Launch the me2me pull translation service

On July 6, 2020, Tinkoff Bank announced the launch of a pilot project - the me2me pull transfer service under the Quick Payment System, which will allow customers to replenish Tinkoff accounts from their accounts with other banks, as well as make money transfers from Tinkoff to their accounts with other banks.

Tinkoff customers will be able to use the me2me pull service to replenish their settlement account in Tinkoff or to make credit card payments at the expense of their own accounts with other banks. Also, the me2me pull service will be relevant if you need to collect a certain amount on one account, for example, to pay for a large purchase.

To transfer money, it will not be necessary to open applications of different banks each time: it is enough to once provide your consent to replenish the account in Tinkoff in the application of the bank from whose account the transfer is made. After that, all subsequent transfers from this bank can be initiated from the Tinkoff mobile application, sending a request for the necessary amount through the account menu.

The service for sending money transfers from Tinkoff works in a similar way: Tinkoff customers will be able to either confirm each debit from the Tinkoff account sent from the application of another bank, or use a simpler solution - once provide permission to debit from the Tinkoff account to their accounts with other banks.

For July 2020, the me2me pull service is available to a limited number of Tinkoff customers. In the fall, all customers of the Tinkoff ecosystem will have access to the service.

We launch the pilot of the me2me pull service as part of the SBP and expect in a couple of months to provide the service to all our customers. We see that most of our customers actively use phone number transfers to top up their Tinkoff account from their accounts with other banks. This service will become relevant for those customers who, for one reason or another, have to receive a salary on the cards of other banks and who immediately transfer it to Tinkoff in order to take advantage of the capabilities of our ecosystem - make payments and transfers without a commission, receive cashback with live money and interest on the balance, use life-style services in our super application Tinkoff, etc.
