2025: Production Launch

In Russia, the production of the world's most powerful automotive batteries based on lithium titanate has been launched. The development was presented by Visso, declaring the superiority of the new technology over existing counterparts. Production launched in March 2025 and was a significant technological breakthrough in domestic automotive electronics.

According to the developers, the Titanatus series batteries have unique parameters. The starting currents of new batteries reach 3000-4000A, which is significantly higher than the indicators of traditional batteries with their 600-900A. Technical Director of Visso Aleksei Volkov stressed that the presented product has no global analogues in terms of power characteristics.

Development has a number of key technical advantages. It provides high efficiency even at extremely low temperatures, which makes it reliable in difficult climatic conditions. Batteries demonstrate improved performance for automotive audio systems, providing a stable power supply. Their characteristics allow the technology to be used in professional motorsport, where reliability and high returns are required. The use of new batteries contributes to a significant decrease in the mass of the vehicle, which has a positive effect on its dynamics and economy.

The fundamental difference between the new batteries is their long operating period. Traditional lead batteries last 300-500 charging cycles, while Visso titanate batteries can work up to 20 thousand cycles, which corresponds to 25-30 years of continuous use.

Visso CEO Dmitry Petrov informed about the current state of production. Currently, small-scale production is carried out with the manual assembly of each battery for an individual order. The company plans to introduce automated production processes to expand production.[1]
