2025: Product Announcement

The first Titan drone suppression system in Russia with artificial intelligence and a laser module with a range of up to 3 km was developed by the Center for Unmanned Systems and Technologies (CBST). The official presentation of the complex took place on February 21, 2025.

According to TASS, the chairman of the board of the CBST Andrei Bezrukov said that the Titan complex includes several modules for detecting, suppressing and issuing target designation during the physical neutralization of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

The first Russian drone suppression system "Titan" based on artificial intelligence

The artificial intelligence of the system is capable of recognizing drones based on a database of 120 million files, which provides automatic capture and neutralization of air targets. The complex uses a software implementation of neural network algorithms for detecting flying objects and selecting suppression means with the ability to customize for various application conditions.

In addition to the laser module, Titan is equipped with a 12-caliber 24-barrel turret with optical control and automatic reloading, an electronic and optical reconnaissance complex, as well as an electronic suppression system. The system can work autonomously without the participation of the operator.

The head of the central executive committee of United Russia, Alexander Sidyakin, explained that the idea of creating the system arose when discussing issues of protecting civilian objects from drone attacks. According to him, the operator can consistently apply various methods of counteraction: from the detection of the drone to its physical elimination.

Initially, the complex was developed in a stationary version to protect objects from UAVs, but the developers received requests to adapt some modules for work on mobile platforms. Software solutions of Titan allow you to implement the functions of target designation and data exchange with other weapons systems.

Tests of the complex are scheduled for the end of February 2025, after which the system will be transferred for use in the zone of a special military operation.[1][2]
