2018: IC of the TCK401G and TCK402G drivers

On March 22, 2018 the Toshiba Electronics Europe company submitted two drivers of locks of the MOS transistors with the channel of n-type intended for the systems of fast charging and other equipment with high values of current.

ICs of drivers with swapping of a charge of TCK401G (high active level) and TCK402G (low active level) are intended for the systems of charging of mobile devices with high current in combination with MOS transistors with the channel of n-type with low RDS(ON). ICs of drivers have several built-in functions of protection, including protection against overvoltage, decrease in a starting current and automatic discharge of output circuits.

Working in the range of input voltages from 2.7 to 28 V of a direct current, devices consume only 121 micro amperes at rest (IQ). Values of switching time of gate voltage (VGATE) are 0.58 ms (inclusion) and 16.6 microsec (switching off).

According to Toshiba, for implementation of the scheme of the highly effective power source it is necessary to use one of the provided drivers with one or two external MOS transistors with the channel of n-type having the maximum voltage and resistance abroach conforming to requirements to the projectible device. As an example, a combination of the IC of the TCK40xG driver and the MOS transistor to the low resistance abroach SSM6K513NU allows to create the 100 W power source of the compact sizes which will be suitable for a power supply of mobile devices and household appliances.

Despite the large-scale integration level, ICs of drivers are still issued in the miniature WCSP6E body the sizes only 0.8 mm x 1.2 mm x 0.55 mm.

Serial deliveries of the IC of drivers of MOS transistors began in 1 quarter 2018.

2016: IC of TCK106AF, TCK107AF and TCK108AF switches

On June 9, 2016 the Toshiba Electronics Europe company provided three single-chip ICs of load switches: TCK106AF, TCK107AF and TCK108AF.

They are executed on the basis of highly effective chips in the standard SOT-25 body. ICs combine the low resistance abroach (up to 63 megohms) and the low standard own consumed current (110 on) with low losses, a low standing current and highly effective switching.

Single-chip ICs of load switches are issued on the basis of technology process of CMOS of Toshiba company and contain, both the output transistor, and the output driver that allows to reduce necessary space on a payment in comparison with use of several discrete parts. Thanks to it new ICs well are suitable for development of compact devices. TCK106AF, TCK107AF and TCK108AF allow to reduce energy consumption of such devices as industrial tablet PCs, modules of the intercomputer interaction (M2M) and other portable devices with self-contained supply.

By means of drivers with the built-in speed control of increase of voltage output and MOS transistors with p-channels and n-type with a low resistance abroach, the IC of load switches Toshiba allow to reduce energy consumption of systems for the appropriation account of power supply or management of power supply for separate functional units. New devices provide switching of loading with low leak, saving the low resistance abroach. All three ICs are executed in the universal SOT body by the sizes of 2.9 mm x 2.8 mm x 1.1 mm.
