The IC TC series of H-pavements of drivers is a series of integrated circuits of drivers for collector electric motors of a direct current and stepping electric motors.
On September 5, 2017 the Toshiba Electronics Europe company announced the beginning of production of three devices in the IC series of H-pavements of drivers. They are focused on use in mobile devices with self-contained supply, home appliances and the equipment for housing and communal services.
TC78H630FNG represents the unary H-bridge with rated current 2.1 A and the low resistance of the output cascade abroach (0.4 Ohms, an upper and lower shoulder, standard value) that allows the IC to manage big currents for collector direct current motors. TC78H630FNG supports the mode of fast braking.
TC78H621FNG and TC78H611FNG contain two H-bridges with rated current 1.1 A and are intended for control of bipolar stepping electric motors with a complete step on 3 ports or a half step on 4 ports. These devices have the low resistance of the output cascade abroach (0.8 Ohms, an upper and lower shoulder, standard value). TC78H621FNG can also manage one collector direct current motor, and TC78H611FNG – two, with support of the mode of fast braking.
These devices are intended for a broad spectrum of application, including mobile devices (POS devices) with the li-ion cell on 3.7 V, electrical household appliances with the supply voltage of 5 or 12 V (refrigerators, air ducts in air conditioning systems and ventilation) and the equipment of the systems of housing and communal services (smart meters, valves of water supply and electronic locks). The maximum voltage output is 18 V.
All devices are issued in the TSSOP16 body also different functions of protection, such as determination of overcurrent condition, shutdown when overheating, blocking a power supply have at the lowered tension and protection against end-to-end current.
A power supply of control logic requires voltage from 2.7 to 5.5 V, and the supply voltage of the electric motor can be in range from 2.5 to 15 V. In standby mode consumption of current is about 1 micro ampere (the maximum value).
Mass production is begun.
