Models with a capacity of 2 TB (thickness – 9.5 mm) and thin devices on 1 TB (thickness – 7 mm) go with the increased cache with a capacity of 128 MB. The line of L200 differs in reduced level of consumption of energy in comparison with 3.5-inch hard drives that allows to optimize system battery life. For reliability the disk is also equipped with the built-in sensor of blows and ramp-technology of loading, noted in Toshiba.
The provided models became a part of the concept of Toshiba for internal and external hard drives "Write the history". Within this initiative each family of internal hard drives will be coded in the corresponding color: for the user and professional PCs and notebooks (P300, L200) – red.
