Toughbook Smart Service Capacity of mobile devices

The Panasonic corporation and developer company of the software of B2M Solutions submitted solution SaaS allowing to analyze the capacity of mobile devices at the beginning of 2017. The cloud service of Toughbook Smart Service is designed to increase efficiency of work of mobile personnel and to provide due return from corporate investments.

The joint solution of Panasonic and B2M Solutions will work by the principle of Software-as-a-Service. The European corporate customers will be able to get flexible access to the Toughbook Smart Service software product unrolled in "cloud", scaling it according to the requirements.

The solution will allow to control operation of corporate mobile devices in real time: far off to trace their status, to do necessary updates, to check correctness of operation of applications and to preventively eliminate software and hardware failures. Seeing on what mobile devices resource-intensive applications work, the IT service of the client will be able to optimize their performance and to reduce costs for transfer of large volumes of data. The customer will also be able to control signal intensity of network, the remained operating time of devices from the accumulator and other characteristics. Besides, a system will be able to accumulate analytical data on use of devices and to create reports.

"Thanks to partnership with B2M Solutions we will be able to provide to clients valuable, sometimes crucial data, collecting them in real time from mobile devices 'in fields' — Rob Bllouvers, the director of the company of Panasonic Computer Products Europe said. — Performance review of mobile devices will allow the organizations to reveal hardware problems at early stages and timely to eliminate them. Notifications about failures or reset of devices in real time help to define the exact reason or the event which caused violation of operation of the device. We will combine Toughbook Smart Service with any solutions for mobile device management or mobility of the enterprise, the client can use it independently or with assistance of specialists of Panasonic".

In general the service of Toughbook Smart Service is intended to increase transparency of business, performance of mobile personnel, to minimize idle times in work, to reduce the number of failures on devices, reducing contingencies and increasing the general satisfaction of corporate customers.

Since 2017, the Russian partners and corporate clients will be able to use services of Panasonic company service center in Moscow and to modify Toughpad tablets and Toughbook notebooks available options. This service should accelerate delivery dates of the equipment for small and pilot projects. Besides, clients can expand the standard guarantee on our devices from three to five years already today, having ensured complete tranquility for all lifecycle of the equipment and in addition to purchase a guarantee from accidental damages. As a rule, at warranty extension economy on service expenses reaches 200%" — Gaydayenko Oleg, the Head of Department of mobile solutions for business of Panasonic Russia said.
