2023: Drone Presentation
In May 2023, at the international exhibition of weapons and military equipment in Minsk, the local 558 Aviation Repair Plant OJSC presented the Lovchiy 1UBAK-70 strike drone. The drone allows you to perform tasks to search, detect and destroy enemy ground objects.
"Trapper" is positioned as a tactical reconnaissance and strike system of short range, which is designed to search, detect and destroy manpower and easily vulnerable enemy equipment in daylight hours. The drone, on the suspension of which up to 8 PTAB-2,5-1 bombs are attached, is capable of carrying weapons up to 20 kg. The range is 70 kilometers, the cruising speed of the flight is 108 km/h. "Trapper" can climb to a height of up to 3 kilometers and stay there for about 5 hours.
The creators drew attention to the fact that more than 70% of the components were produced at the enterprises of Belarus.
The Belarusian "558 Aviation Repair Plant" is also developing another project of an attack drone - the Chekan UBLA-25. It is a tactical aviation complex with a single-use UAV. The complex includes a ground control center, as well as two shock disposable barraging shells and a launcher. The range of the drone is 25 km. On board the drone can be installed high-explosive fragmentation or cumulative ammunition.
The maximum take-off weight of the UAV is 12 kg, while the warhead itself weighs 2 kg. "Chekan" is able to rise to a height of up to 200 meters. Its cruising speed is 90 km/h.[1]
