2023: Product Announcement

In early May 2023, the Internet company Travelzoo opened the Travelzoo Meta site, a specialized metaverse for travel around the world. It is assumed that the project will become a kind of portal to a completely new dimension, where users will be able to visit hard-to-reach corners of the Earth and even go to the past.

According to the developers, members of the new virtual community will be able to open uncharted spaces beyond imagination. For example, you can get to Ancient Rome or be on top of Everest without leaving your home. Entering the metaverse requires a mobile device or personal computer, as well as a regular browser.

Travelzoo has opened its metaverse

Each of the first million Travelzoo Meta users will have at their disposal a unique personal-oriented companion - in the form of a non-replaceable token (NFT). You can choose a travel companion from an interactive gallery: as soon as any of the subscribers determines a character suitable for themselves, no one else will be able to move around the metaverse with him. Fellow travelers are presented in the form of fantastic animals, which, according to the authors of the project, symbolizes a world without restrictions, cells, lattices and borders.

The new virtual space, as noted, gives freedom to enjoy a life full of adventure and unusual emotions. Members of the Travelzoo Meta community will be able to share experiences with their loved ones - no matter what part of the world they are in - or make new connections with like-minded travelers.
